Towards a Hetero-Ethological Imagination
A public lecture on the scientific imagination and on contemporary audiovisual practices chronicling interactions between humans and cetaceans. My new inquiry moves across an ecology of sites that together form a triptych: the Strait of Gibraltar, the Tyrrhenian Sea, and the Sea of Cortez.
